description The article presents the experience and results of the joint work of a Latin American Network conformed by three universities in Argentina and Colombia. The Institutions allied with the objective of training their teachers on the pedagogical and technological innovation. Thus, a virtual course was designed and implemented. The course focused on Problem-Based Learning and the use of technology in education. Sixty teachers from three universities were enrolled. Nevertheless, 36 completed the training. After the course finished, data collected from two sources were analyzed: 1) participants’ productions, and 2) answers to a satisfaction survey. The results describe the quality of the participants’ productions attending their potentialities to transform educational practices. Also, the participants’ appreciations of the course are exposed. The conclusions highlight the value of collaborative networking, without borders or distances.

El artículo expone la experiencia y los resultados del trabajo conjunto de una Red Latinoamericana conformada por tres universidades de Argentina y Colombia. Las instituciones se aliaron con el objetivo de capacitar a sus docentes para la innovación pedagógica y tecnológica. Tras el mencionado propósito, se diseñó e implementó un curso virtual, cuyo tema central fue el Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas y el uso de tecnologías en educación. Se inscribieron 60 docentes de las tres universidades; 36 completaron la capacitación. Finalizado el curso se analizaron datos recogidos de dos fuentes: 1) producciones de los cursantes; 2) respuestas a una encuesta de satisfacción. Los resultados describen la calidad de las producciones de los docentes que tomaron el curso atendiendo a sus potencialidades para transformar las prácticas educativas. Asimismo, se exponen las valoraciones de los cursantes respecto de la capacitación. Las conclusiones destacan el valor del trabajo colaborativo, en red, sin fronteras ni distancias.
