Boring (1956 – 1958), que reúne parte de la correspondencia inédita que el psicólogo alemán, nacionalizado peruano, mantuvo con diversas personalidades de la psicología y la cultura peruana e internacional. El libro se une a un conjunto de publicaciones relacionados a la historia de la psicología en el Perú que, si bien en el país andino y muchos países latinoamericanos no es un campo ampliamente estudiado, es una de las áreas que más tiene por explorar, en donde autores, como Walter Blumenfeld no pueden pasar al olvido por ninguna persona relacionada a la psicología, ya sea estudiante o profesional.
