Gérard Bensussan

Gérard Bensussan (born September 11, 1948, in Mascara, Algeria) is a professor of philosophy at Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, a researcher at the CNRS, a translator, and a specialist in Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph von Schelling, Franz Rosenzweig, and Emmanuel Levinas. He has worked on German classical philosophy and Jewish philosophy. He initiated the foundation of the Strasbourg Parliament of Philosophers and can be considered a close associate of the philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy. Provided by Wikipedia
